January 30th, 2010 Very big bear killed by vehicle
This is arguably the largest bear ever in Florida. He weighed over 640 pounds using a measurement formula after he bottomed out a 500 pound scale. The vehicle that hit him was totaled and the driver transported to the hospital. The driver was fortunate that he was not killed as well.
